i am thinking about traveling to shanghai this summer. i will be teaching english in china and am looking for places to go and things to do. any tips for someone who might be stopping in soon?

Fri, June 11, 2004 - 9:01 AMShanghai is not really China, so if you want to experience real China, try teaching in a small city somewhere out west. Apart from that, Shanghai is fun and has lots to offer for going out etc, but its not highly rated for its tourist attractions, if you want culture, history etc, Beijing is probably better.
anyway, China is so big that wherever you go, it will be worth it.
