I love Shanghai, but am not there right now.
I used to take the train from Nanjing to Shanghai and do 'pub crawls' around the city.
Wake up people..What are some fun places to go in Shanghai??

I am moving to Shanghai in a month, and I NEED to know what to do when I get there! I'll be around for 2+ years with my boyfriend and 5 yr old boy. We're Burning Man people, stilters, fire dancers, lovers of all things crazy, unusual and beautiful... We really want to find some action and stir things up a little when we land.

I'm here now, let's talk, people! I have found some great places to party, and want to meet up with some creative, inspiring people to collaborate with. I'm thinking about planning some costume events with live art, performance art, DJ's, -- wanna play?
WHERE'S MY SHANGHAI TRIBE???
BTW- so far a couple of interesting bars I've been to:
C's Bar on Thursday
Logo for great reggae
Cotton's for cool outdoor ambiance (and plenty of board games to be silly)
Anyone have some thoughts about otehr chill places to have fun?
